I’m Zahid Perez Cruz, a photographer and videographer passionate about using visual storytelling to highlight the artistry and authenticity of real experiences. Over the past several years, I’ve developed a portfolio that spans live performance coverage, community events, promotional materials, and documentary-style storytelling. Whether working as Editor-in-Chief of my high school’s news network, leading a 60-person team to produce award-winning projects, or capturing captivating and dynamic images for marching bands and sports teams, I’ve learned how to craft media that resonates with audiences and strengthens community connection.

My work has been featured by organizations such as WBA and SCPA, and has collectively reached over 170,000 impressions on social media. As both a freelance editor and creative collaborator, I’ve delivered polished, high-quality content for clients ranging from local creators to established YouTubers, including FoolishFrankie (604k subscribers) the Immortal Winds, and WinterGuard International (WGI). These experiences have sharpened my ability to manage high-pressure, fast-turnaround assignments while maintaining a clear creative vision.

I’m drawn to positions that value creative initiative, collaboration, and a deep respect for storytelling’s ability to bring people together. With strong technical proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Suite, and social media strategy—and a genuine passion for capturing moments that matter—I’m confident I can bring both technical skill and creative energy to your project
