I’m Zahid Cruz, award-winning video editor, social media manager, and creative director with a track record of crafting high-quality, emotionally impactful visual stories. Over the past several years, I’ve developed a portfolio that spans live performance coverage, community events, promotional materials, and documentary-style storytelling. Whether working as Editor-in-Chief of my high school’s news network, seeing as an Aggie Studios lead videographer, leading a 60-person team to produce award-winning projects, or capturing captivating and dynamic images for marching bands and sports teams, I’ve learned how to craft media that resonates with audiences and strengthens community connection.
My work has earned awards for storytelling and leadership, and has been featured by organizations such as the Western Band Association, Southern California Percussion Alliance, Northern California Percussion Alliance, Winter Guard International, The Mandarins, Blue Devils Performing Arts, Pacific Crest, Aggie Studios, Clinica Tepati, El Centro, and the MHHS Cardinal Alliance. These experiences have sharpened my ability to manage high-pressure, fast-turnaround assignments while maintaining a clear creative vision. Outside of school, I freelance for local organizations and YouTubers, specializing in editing within DaVinci Resolve, motion graphics, and color grading.
I bring sharp creative instincts, technical versatility, and a drive for excellence to every project I take on.
